Fill a jug with lid 3/4 full of water (ie from milk, ice tea, water) and freeze...stash it in your cooler before grocery shopping....food will stay cooler and as the water melts you can refill everybody's cup or bottle. This works great at the beach too.
I even freeze a small water bottle whether I am home or running about...fun to have an ice cube in the bottle throughout the day. (a full bottle will over expand)
