Seriously; even if you hate it. When you are waiting for the pasta water to boil or the sauce to thicken, slice, dice, and shred your veggies and prepare a salad on your plate, as much as you can pile on! When you come to serve your dinner, add your veggies to the salad, then your protein, and then your starchy carbs and you'll find yourself eating less just to keep it all on the plate, and you still get your meal and all it's tastes, not just a plate full of salad!
