Sometimes a "bite" is all we need. If my children are eating something scrumptious and I'm feeling tempted, I will enjoy a heaping tablespoon full and walk away from the pot. There are times when I feel "in control" enough to do this and others, I don't...it's trial and error but has helped me tremendously. We don't always need to "overeat" our
favorite foods. We may just need a bit or a piece or a bite.
