I teach high school and bring my lunch evry day. Before I leave the house in the morning, I make sure to log in and track my breakfast and what I packed for lunch. This way, I know exactly how much leeway I have for later. If I need a snack, I know that it is already added into my daily calories; if I did not eat everything, I can just edit the entry when I get home.
