apple chips

take any apple you normally would eat.Slice it thin on a mandaline , place slices on a silpat or non stick pan in a 350-375 degree oven until dry and crispy. Eat when cool enough; store in a plastic bag or other airtight container. can be rewarmed or recrisped. Nice a s a 'garnish for a granita, great as a substitute for a crunchy chip
