When we are going out to a restaurant, I look at their menu online beforehand and plan what I'll eat, and enter it into the tracker. This way I know I won't go over my calories and can make a good choice. I will often write different options down in case something I want is not available and I'll bring that with me. So, while everyone else is eating a 2000 calorie meal, I know mine is about 600-700. This has helped me so much, and I think it's important to do if you eat out a lot.
