When I plan what I'm going to eat, it ensures that I don't overeat. And when you write what you eat, EAT IT! That way you won't reach for something that's not healthy. Otherwise, you'll want to beat yourself up about it. And you don't have to do that. By writing down what you eat, your making a promise to yourself that your going to eat healthy for the day. This is a lifestyle change. You have to start somewhere. And, it also helps to plan your meals the night before or a few days in advance.
